Glulam Beams

Lilleheden provides CE marked glulam in strength classes GL30c / GL28cs produced to EN14080:2013.  Standard lamella thicknesses are 45mm and 33mm, the latter being approved for use in Service Class 3 (External use).

The production starts with machine sorting of raw wood that comes from Scandinavian sawmills, each individual piece being checked for strength and moisture content. The timber is then finger-jointed to lamella and glued together to form the required depth. These beams will eventually be clean planed on all four sides.

Standard dimensions are produced and stored in 24 metre lengths waiting to be cut to suit the customers' exact requirements, without waste.
